Squad Goals
Everyone on the Smalls Squad has one thing in common: they’re awesome. But beyond that, we all share the same core values and strive to live up to them daily. These values are what make Smalls Smalls. If these are values you can believe in, then you may have what it takes to live the Can Life, and enjoy all the fun and perks that come with it.
Sweat the small stuff.
In order to deliver the best experience for our guests, we must execute at the highest level and get every small detail just right. From customers’ orders and the service we provide to the cleanliness of our Cans, parking lots and uniforms. And when we get it wrong, we must own it. And not only make it right, make it better.
Bleed orange.
No matter your age, ethnicity, gender, orientation, whatever. Smalls welcomes all. At our Cans. On our Squads. Always. Without exception. We don’t just work at Smalls. We are Smalls. So we must be our own biggest fans. Brag about our food, our achievements and our people. Invite friends for a bite. Wear Smalls swag with pride knowing everyone, from all walks of life, plays a part in our success.
Serve up fun.
Sliders, fries and shakes are fun food and drinks that make people happy. Our attitude and personality can amplify that inherent fun. Smile, laugh and have a good time. Don’t just serve someone food, make their day a small bit better.
Celebrate small wins.
Life can be hard. Take a moment to celebrate the small wins. With guests and each other. Losing a tooth. Improving grades. Winning a baseball game. Squad members arriving for their shift. Make a big deal out of small wins and we’ll have a positive impact on the world.
Put others first.
From our cooks and cashiers to our Founder, we are all on the same Squad and must have each other’s backs at all times. Check on each other. Ask how they’re doing. Offer to help even if it’s “not your job.” Be accountable not only for your own actions, but the actions your entire squad. When we put our team before ourselves, we all win.
